On October 15th in San Francisco, the world’s leading community professionals and businesses will gather together for the industry’s largest professional gathering. We all toil tirelessly to build communities day in and day out. CMX Summit is your chance to step back, learn from others, share in the passion and excitement, and make connections that will last your entire career.

Today, we release General Admission tickets and announce more speakers and the final lineup of workshops.

Pre-sale ticets sold out in eight hours and Early Bird tickets sold out a week ago, so don’t wait to pick up your tickets.

You’ll Meet These Incredible Speakers, Just Added to the Lineup

We have already stacked the lineup with industry veterans for you. Today, we’re announcing three new speakers who have joined the event, who can speak about building community from the earliest of days to full scale at B2B and B2C businesses. They’re three of the people who have been defining the community industry through their work for up to a decade.

Jennifer Sable Lopez, Director of Community at Moz

jen sable lopezJennifer Sable Lopez is the Director of Community at Moz, a marketing software company with a vibrant community of over 500,000 online marketers. She is a renowned Community and Social Media Strategist, who built the Moz community team and strategy from the ground up.
Jen is a self-proclaimed geek and faux vegetarian, and she prides herself in having kicked colon cancer’s butt at the young age of 37. She’ll share her passion for people, stories, and community with us this October.

Nish Nadaraja, Creator of Yelp Elite

nish_nadarajaNish Nadaraja led marketing and community for Yelp from 2005-2010, creating their Yelp Elite program along the way. He was the driving force behind the team’s community programs from the start. Post-Yelp, he’s worked for a handful of big brands and a few too many startups in advisory and consulting roles.
True to his Yelp roots (and now with no conflict of interest!), he’s an investor in some of San Francisco’s finest restaurants and bars, where you might find him pondering the next big thing.

Jenna Meister, Head of Community Engagement at Airbnb

jenna_meisterJenna Meister joined Airbnb in 2011 and has been a key leader in implementing Airbnb’s community strategy across international markets ever since. She has recruited, trained, and managed Community Managers across 20 countries and has led community engagement for major launches, including Airbnb’s rebrand in 2014 and the launch of the company’s online community platform.

We are excited to introduce her to you and for you to learn about Airbnb’s community triumphs first-hand.

New Workshops Added

Last year, we heard loud and clear that our workshops had the potential to hold tremendous value. This year, we are delivering on that promise to you. We’re developing key workshops that will allow you to delve deeply into the areas where you most need help in your role.

That’s why we can’t wait to announce two more workshops to give you an opportunity to get hands on, tactical advice. If you’d like to upgrade your ticket to include a workshop, you can just shoot us an email. Just make sure you purchase your ticket soon. Space is strictly limited, and we ran out of seats in our last workshops!
