The Role

Workweek is looking for a Community Partnerships Manager to develop Creator-specific communities which increase Creator brand recognition, audience loyalty, and overall growth. This role will initiate Workweek Community integration into Creators' media brands.

This role will enable you to be creative and innovative as you design business-focused Creator communities based on the Creator’s voice, brand, and audience. The goal is to drive engagement across Creators’ media properties, from newsletters and podcasts to courses and events.

The ideal candidate is excited by working on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for individuals who can run with projects without heavy supervision, are great communicators, and bring positivity to the work environment as Making Work Fun is part of our operating principles. This role reports directly to the Head of Education.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ideal candidates for this role will have a proven background in program development, creator communications, internal stakeholder management, and measurement of multiple multi-faceted programs
  • Help identify, develop, and own diverse creator communities that are aligned to the creator community strategy using data and analytical insights
  • Communicate product vision, execution plan, and development status with key collaborators and senior management
  • Define the KPI targets, strategy, and execution for growing a highly engaged community
  • Follow technology trends and developments in the communication and collaboration space
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, produce, and live operate community experiences that keeps the community engaged daily and achieves product goals
  • Work with the Growth and Product team to ensure the conversion Creators’ audiences from newsletters, courses, etc. are in place and performing to benchmarks
  • Help share best practices to help maximize video views, audience growth and creator retention
  • Meet regularly with Creators to obtain feedback and maintain alignment and buy-in
  • Initially, the person in this role will be rolling up their sleeves and completing the end-to-end work. Once the business needs increase, this person will begin to build their team

 

Qualifications

  • Given the unique nature of this role, we are open to applicants with relevant experience
  • Experience designing and building a community product from conception to implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (or equivalent) and analytics
  • Passion to own a product and push it to be the most it can be
  • 2+ years experience driving community (media preferred)
  • Strong understanding of driving revenue from community, specifically subscriptions
  • Passion to push the boundaries of what owning a community can be
  • Confident using data to inform decision making and achieve KPI’s
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of project management
