We’re looking for an experienced Community Manager to join us on the Groups product marketing team. You’ll be responsible for engaging group admins, the community leaders who create and manage groups that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Over 1 billion people use Facebook Groups every month to connect around the things they care about. There are tens of millions of active groups on Facebook, each run by passionate group admins who are responsible for the growth, health, and leadership of these diverse communities. This role is on the team at Facebook that supports our vibrant network of Facebook Power Admins groups. The right individual will be a passionate advocate for both our Facebook mission as well as the product experience of Facebook Groups. This role can be based in Menlo Park, Los Angeles, Austin, or Miami.


  • Day-to-day community moderation of a Facebook group for “power admins” — approving posts, approving member requests, moderating comments, publishing daily content
  • Become an expert in the needs and motivations of group admins
  • Leverage your passion for community building to help Facebook become a community leader with this audience
  • Represent the Facebook brand with authenticity and integrity by engaging with the community, responding to questions, and fostering an inclusive environment
  • Be a wholehearted advocate for community members, relentlessly connecting the dots between group admins and the team at Facebook building new products for them by surfacing community feedback in a structured manner and collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing and support teams


  • Multi-lingual in Latin America dialect Spanish (native) and English (fluent)
  • Native knowledge of the culture and traditions of Latin America
  • Compelling experience as an admin for a large and active Facebook group
  • Passion for all things related to the Facebook Groups product
  • A demonstrated track record of online and offline community leadership
  • Very strong writing skills, with experience in editorial, copywriting, or content strategy
  • Experience with social media content development
  • Fearless approach to moderating tough conversations or fielding hard questions in an online context
  • Attention to detail
