Description:
Terminus is looking for a Community Leader to join our marketing team! In this role, you will be primarily responsible for strategizing and executing on how to grow and scale the #FlipMyFunnel community to become one of the largest and most connected communities of B2B Marketing and Sales professionals worldwide. You will have the support of the Terminus marketing team as well as the events team to bring the best and brightest ideas to life to grow and engage the community. You love trying new strategies (and learning from them) in order to make magic happen in the community. This role is a unique mix of operations, strategy, and human to human connections across the organization and the community at large. This role is an individual contributor role with very high visibility across the organization to drive business impact.

We’re ideally looking for someone to join our team in San Francisco or Atlanta, but are open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop strategy to scale community
  • Attract B2B marketing and sales professionals to participate and engage in community
  • Create 2019 community growth and engagement through podcasts, surveys, events, forums, meet-ups and/or other channels as needed
  • Manage and lead events to enhance community and increase participation including managing vendor relationships
  • Create and curate impactful content (email marketing, blog posts, social media) to enhance the brand and distribute company message
  • Collaborate with our content and PR teams to distribute content and news to the community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing or Communications major preferred
  • 2+ years of experience managing and scaling a community for a B2B company
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing events to assist in building community
  • Demonstrated success through key community metrics
  • Strong email marketing experience including copywriting
  • Proficiency with popular forum/community software and ability to manage it
  • Familiarity with social media and web community best practices; familiarity with SEO for community building
  • Strong familiarity with key social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a proven ability to increase audience engagement
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and program/event budgets
  • Experience in martech a plus
