It feels like we were celebrating our 5th anniversary just yesterday, and here we are, hurtling towards our 10th year (can you believe it?!). To mark this milestone and show our immense gratitude for your incredible support over the past decade, we've been cooking up some exciting changes for CMX Summit 2024!

We've decided to include the workshop day in ALL regular CMX Summit 2024 tickets! This means that everyone who purchases a regular CMX Summit ticket will automatically have access to all the workshops following the talks on April 25th. That's right, no more juggling schedules or separate tickets. Workshops will be held on April 26th.

Conflict Resiliency in Community Management - Led by Ruth Diaz and Molli Aronce

Join Ruth Diaz (Co-founder and Core Vision Owner (CVO) at inPath XR) and Molli Aronce (Global Community Developer at VorteXR) for a workshop aimed at empowering community managers with the skills to navigate community conflict. 

This session focuses on building emotional fluency using the Deepen, Orient, Transform (DOT) Model framework, providing a robust foundation for understanding conflict dynamics at every level. Participants will learn how to identify and work with conflict archetypes, apply emotional intelligence, and use the DOT Model to promote constructive dialogue. Deliberative Meetings and Wicked Problems: An Introduction to Deliberative Engagement - Led by Martin Carcasson

Join Martin Carcasson, Ph.D., and the director of the Colorado State University Center for Public Deliberation, for this two-hour workshop about how to engage diverse perspectives and controversial issues more productively. 

This workshop covers an explanation of the concept of wicked problems (a key tool to shift conversations to a more effective framing), an exploration of social psychology and brain science that helps us understand why we are so divided and how we can change that, and an exploration of deliberative engagement tools to help elevate your conversations, sharpen your facilitation skills, and transform how your community communicates.
