The community management industry is still in its nascent stages. There are few definite rules, and the best practices are constantly evolving. This can be a challenge, but it's also what makes the community industry so exciting. It means that we can play a role in shaping the industry and defining its future.
But if you're new to the community industry, it might be a bit confusing to know where to start. That's why even community managers need their own community, gathering, and summit. And the CMX Summit is no exception.
The CMX Summit has been around for years, and it has always been where community managers and other professionals in the industry can share their experiences, learn from each other, network, and just have fun. It's a space where you can be yourself, be surrounded by people who understand what you're going through, and learn from the best in the business.
In short, in a field that is constantly evolving, gatherings like the CMX Summit are essential for staying ahead of the curve.
Although many people would love to attend our conference, we realize that not everyone is able to do so. At CMX, we believe in giving everyone the chance to be a part of our summit experience. To make this vision a reality, we are proud to announce the CMX Summit Scholarship program. These scholarships are designed to help break down barriers that prevent people from participating in CMX Summit because of their race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or preference, military service history, age, or disability status.
Over the course of the years, we have given out more than 70 scholarships, and this year we've decided to do our biggest scholarship yet, giving out 50 CMX Summit 2023: Shine tickets, which will include an access pass to our two-day conference, CMX Summit 2023: Shine.
If you're a community manager who is passionate about making a difference, then we encourage you to apply for the scholarship! Continue reading to learn about all the details.
