Qualification Requirements 3+ years experience in Community, Event Planning, or similar work Excellent organizational and professional communication skills Experience managing multiple projects at once with meticulous attention to detail Positive team collaborator Flexible schedule; Easily switch gears Self-motivated and quick learner Knowledge of Slack/Discord, Social Media Platforms, Microsoft Office and Google Drive Ability to easily learn and use community, event, and similar platforms Basic graphic design knowledge is a plus but not required Able to work in multiple time zones remotely; Occasional early morning or evenings Ability to travel 3-5 times a year Quiet workspace and able to professionally present and participate in video calls Remote, Full-time Must be located in Charleston, SC area; Available to meet in person for staff meetings/events Job Description Build relationships with community volunteers, venues, vendors, and clients Coordinate events worldwide, including booking venues, setting up catering, securing vendors, overseeing budgets and expenses, and promoting events Create online event pages, email invites, and event communications Maintain consistent communication and meet deadlines Participate in client meetings virtually, on camera Keep accurate analytics and reports on community activity and growth Assist with the coordination of large, regional in-person and virtual events Moderate and create engagement on Slack & Discord Channels Manage promotional merchandise ordering Work closely with a small team managing large projects Compensation Annual Salary – $60,000 Healthcare Benefit Potential for bonus based on individual & company performance Observed paid holidays including all federal holidays; Company closed Christmas Eve through New Years Day and the Friday following Thanksgiving Ten days paid vacation annually on a prorated basis Five days paid sick leave annually on a prorated basis
