For the first time ever, CMX Summit 2021 will have an overarching theme. This year‘s theme is Rise, celebrating the rise of community, the growth in community-driven business, and most importantly, elevating community professionals.CMX Summit: Rise comes at a pivotal time for the community industry. Following a year marked by a global pandemic, businesses around the world are waking up to the power of community to drive real business growth. What can I expect at CMX Summit: Rise?

As the largest conference specifically for the community industry, our goal for CMX Summit: Rise is to deliver the community-focused content you need to build thriving communities. In addition, we’re committed to:

• Highlight diverse speakers
• Elevating new voices in the community field
• Curating niche topics within the community industry

For community professionals, we’ll have a full slate of hands-on sessions, workshops, and actionable talks that give you resources you can implement into your own community. Each of our sessions will have a course level (101, 201, or 301) indicating whether they’re for beginner, intermediate, or expert practitioners.Not a community professional? We’ll also feature thought leadership from some of the top community leaders, for anyone who’s interested in taking a community-driven approach or simply learning more.

Will CMX Summit: Rise be virtual, or in-person?

Like last year, this year’s CMX Summit will offer a fully virtual option hosted on the Bevy virtual conference platform. That means anyone, anywhere can join the fun!Will CMX Summit: Rise have an in-person component? Just like everyone else, we’re figuring out what a hybrid CMX Summit might look like. We’re determined to bring folks together in person in some way, shape or form, as long as it’s safe. Stay tuned for more updates on this front!
